About Our Fees
The amount in controversy is the aggregate of the amounts in disputes, including claims and counterclaims as of the time of mediation.
Fee division where there are multiple parties can be discussed. In general, parties represented by the same counsel are considered one party for purposes of fees.
If special circumstances should be considered, please contact Karen.
For cases that involve additional preparation or extensive follow-up work, additional fees will be charged. Extra charges will be discussed.
Full-day mediations are scheduled for 8 hours. We usually begin at 9:30 a.m., but start times are negotiable. Lunch and parking are included in the full-day rate. Parking is included in the half-day rate. While most sessions conclude by the end of the scheduled time, some mediations may extend longer. We will charge for substantial time beyond the scheduled hours. Parties will bear equal responsibility.
We do not charge separate fees for administration, study time, or phone or video calls.
